We've been very fortunate to feature some amazing local musicians on DiStefano alley stage. It all began with Jazz and in between we had Rock Jazz, Latin Jazz, Folk-Acoustic-World-Flamenco-Jazz, Brazilian-Samba-Soul Jazz, Blues and R&B fusions.
And this year we are honored to invite to our stage yet another group of amazing musicians, Danny Godinez & Friends. They will bring a wonderful cornucopia of blues, jazz, funk and latin textures in their music. Seminole Seattle guitarist Danny Godinez is a fiery and tasteful guitarist, both on acoustic and electric. He is joined by an all star stellar Seattle band including Farko Dosumov on bass, Ron Weinstein on organ, Mack Grout on keys and Adam Kessler on drums. Here is one of band’s performance.
Guitarist/singer-songwriter Danny Godinez has been a mainstay in the Seattle music scene for over a decade. He has played with a wide variety of musical figures including Carlos Santana, Jason Mraz, Tim Reynolds, and Johnny Lang. He has toured throughout Europe, Alaska, and the lower 48, and is known for his inventive and inspiring solo shows.
This year we partnered with Hallava Falafel to serve their delicious mediterranean style foods.
WINES & SPIRITS
Your ticket includes a complimentary glass of wine or vermouth spritzer. We will also have a Library Wine booth where our winemaker, Mark Newton, will pour some of our wines going back as far as 1984. The availability is low and these wines will be sold on first come first serve basis. In addition other DiStefano wines and vermouth will be available for purchase by the glass and bottle.
The concert will take place rain or shine, so we suggest bringing a beach umbrella in case it might be too sunny or rainy. We will have a limited number of barrel-top tables, you are welcome to bring a small picnic table of your own if you like, as well as a seat, like a lawn chair, a sweet friend (or ten), and prepare for a good time!
